Public Rambles

Several organisations are organising public rambles that you can get involved with this year

These events have been organised by the organisations named below, and aren't organised or sponsored by Countryfile or BBC Children in Need. This means that the organiser is responsible for compliance with the laws and safety of fellow ramblers.


Cotswold Outdoor - Exeter Darts Farm Ramble
Sunday 6th October @ 10:30am

Cotswold Outdoor are proud to be an official partner of BBC Children in Need and want to inspire our customers to don their walking boots and get out on a walk this autumn. Sign up to attend our Exeter Darts Farm store Ramble in aid of BBC Children in Need.

Newent and District Rotary Ramble - Highnam Court
Sunday 6th October @ 10:30am and 10:45am
Highnam Court, Gloucestershire

Registration and refreshments at Highnam Community Centre from 9:30am (parking available)
 
There will be two walks: The short walk will start at 10:45am and will be a 1km route through the gardens, there are a number of ornaments that will be the clues for an observation task for families. This route is suitable for pushchairs.
 
The longer walk will start at 10:30am and will be a 4 km walk in the surrounding countryside, led by a member of the local hiking group
 
Both routes are circular and will end back at the community centre for further refreshments.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a short lead.

AccessTog - Windsor
Saturday 5th October @ 11:00am        
Start & End location – Windsor Gates

A wheelchair-friendly Ramble around Windsor –the route will follow the Queen’s Walkway and take in Windsor’s best sights
