A Lasting Impact
When Ava was diagnosed with an incredibly rare genetic condition as a baby, her family were heartbroken. At such a young age, Ava was in and out of hospital, needing oxygen and struggling with her muscle tone, vision and hearing.
But now, thanks to donations to BBC Children in Need, Ava and her family got the support they needed. Ava’s mum and dad see the incredible difference the support has made.
