Ways to collect and pay in your fundraising
You’re a fundraising hero – and every penny you raise will help to change lives.
To make things as straightforward as possible for you, we’ve got a variety of easy and secure ways to collect your donations! Check out all the different options below to see which will workbest.
Thanks to your incredible support, we’ll make sure there’s someone there to give food, clothes and a bed to a child living without. Someone qualified to talk to a child who is anxious, isolated or grieving. Someone trained to mentor teenagers in communities facing inequality, violence or a lack of opportunity. Someone to be there for children living with serious illness or disability, or carrying a load that’s just too heavy to manage alone.

Pay in your fundraising online
You can send what you’ve raised directly to BBC Children in Need using our online fundraising platform. Just select the ‘Pay in your fundraising’ tab.
Fundraise with JustGiving
It’s super easy to collect sponsorship money with a JustGiving page. Use this brilliant tool as somewhere to direct donations and tot up the money you raise without having to handle cash.

Pay in Cash at the Post Office
If your fundraising activity includes collecting cash or coins, you can pay this in at the Post Office. They’re our official cash collection partner!
Just take your funds along to your local Post Office branch and ask to pay them in for BBC Children in Need. You can do this with cash, card or cheque. The Post Office team will guide you through it!

Paying in via Cheque/Post
The safest way make a donation or pay in your fundraising is through our online system. Please don’t send cash by post!
If you’d like to send a cheque, postal order or CAF voucher made payable to ‘BBC Children in Need’, you can do so using the following address:

You’ll need to include your name along with your payment.
Please be aware that we have seen instances of cheque fraud – so we encourage our supporters to donate online!
If you do wish to donate via cheque, please consider the following guidance:
- Banks recommend that cheques should be written using indelible ink – such as with a ballpoint pen – and that a line should be drawn through all unused spaces. Banks also recommend that, when filling in a cheque, individuals should aim to fill the whole cheque, writing from the very left in large text.
- Banks advise to never to leave a space between the “£” and the amount total.
- Bank statements should be monitored to keep track of cheque payments.
- If a supporter notices a transaction on their account that they do not recognise, we advise them to contact their bank immediately and report the case to the police through Action Fraud – by calling 0300 123 2040 or emailing actionfraud.police.uk
