Our Big BBC Children in Need Show is fast approaching, airing on Friday 14th November at 7pm on BBC One.
And you know what that means? There’s loads more amazing BBC Children in Need themed telly and radio on the horizon. Here’s what you can look forward to over the coming weeks…
The Challenge Squad
The epic Challenge Squad is made up of four inspirational young people who have benefitted from BBC Children in Need funding, who will be championed by Alex Jones and Roman Kemp as they undertake incredible personal challenges to help make a difference to young lives.

Sara Cox’s Great Northern Marathon Challenge
Sara Cox will be taking on a truly epic test of stamina and spirit this November, during a five day mission to get Pudsey… to Pudsey! Sara will cover 135 miles on foot across four counties – Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire – a distance of five marathons across five days.

Bargain Hunt Special
BBC One’s much-loved antiques gameshow Bargain Hunt is getting a celebrity twist in support of BBC Children in Need. Two teams of comedians will be stepping into the iconic red and blue jackets to hunt for hidden treasures and raise money for a good cause. The red team features Russell Kane and Ignacio Lopez, while Jo Caulfield and Stephen K Amos will be flying the flag for the blue team. Their challenge? To find the best bargains and raise the most money at auction – all in the name of Pudsey.

DIY SOS
Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team were joined by BBC One’s Morning Live for the first time in a special collaboration build in aid of BBC Children in Need. The Joshua Tree charity in Cheshire, a charity supported by BBC Children in Need, were surprised with the news that they’d be benefitting from the build. Nick Knowles and his trusty team were joined by Morning Live presenters Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton, who donned their steel toe capped boots, high viz and hard hats to help make a difference to children and their families affected by cancer. Tune in for the build’s final reveal.

The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Special
The Celebrity Apprentice will return for a two-part Christmas special, with Lord Sugar’s candidates facing their toughest challenge yet – impressing Santa Claus himself. For the first time ever, Lord Sugar will be partnering with Pudsey for BBC Children in Need to bring viewers two, one-hour episodes set in the snowy setting of Lapland where the task is tougher and the stakes are higher than ever.

Catch up on Countryfile Ramble
To celebrate their 11th ramble for BBC Children in Need, Countryfile headed to a farm on the Staffordshire-Shropshire border. The presenters pulled on their bobble hats and laced up their boots to walk alongside some truly inspiring young people.
