Are you ready for Pudsey Day?!
Find everything you need to plan your perfect Pudsey Day below!
2026 is the National Year of Reading – so we’re challenging nurseries to a sponsored ‘Big Read’ over BBC Children in Need week to help encourage children to explore the joy of books whilst raising money.
Take on the ‘CBeebies Bedtime Stories Big Read’ challenge and get sponsored to enjoy as many brilliant books as you can!
PLUS your nursery can join a special CBeebies Bedtime Story Read and Rave to celebrate your achievements – livestreamed from the British Library on Pudsey Day from 10:00am!
Remember to save the date: Pudsey Day is on Friday 13th November this year!

Sign up to fundraise for BBC Children in Need below and you’ll be in with the chance to WIN:
A Pudsey Visit
A Puffin Book Bundle
£500 Amazon Voucher
Last year, 100% of the money you raised helped to support children and young people across the UK — funding local projects and the people who make that support possible.
Right now, we can only afford to fund 1 in 6 organisations that ask for our help. That’s nearly half a million children going without our support when they need us by their side. With your support, we can change that.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR FUNDRAISING
£2 PAYS FOR A HOT MEAL
for a child growing up in poverty, ensuring they don’t go hungry.
£20 PAYS FOR A WINTER COAT
for a child when they have fled abuse.
£150 PAYS FOR A MONTH'S SUPPLY OF NAPPIES
and baby wipes for 10 families living in temporary accommodation.
