We use your fundraising to support children and young people who need it most, right across the UK. 

Every day, BBC Children in Need’s over 1,600 projects are working tirelessly in all corners of the UK, working side by side with children and young people, creating connection, confidence and safety when they need it most. From England to Scotland, Wales to Northern Ireland – BBC Children in Need is there.

In the last year alone, your support helped support nearly half a million children and young people. Of those, more than half of them were affected by poverty.

However, we can only afford to fund 1 in 6 organisations that ask for our help. That’s around half a million children going without our support when they need us by their side. 

Any money donated through external online fundraising platforms (ParentPay or JustGiving) is paid directly to the charity at regular intervals. This is cost effective for the charity and makes collecting money easier for you.
