We are delighted to have welcomed Sofology into the Pudsey family this year as a lead furniture partner of BBC Children in Need’s Emergency Essentials programme.

We know that a home is built on fundamental furnishings that provide comfort, warmth and dignity. Today, up to 6 million people in the UK face furniture poverty. Sofology are helping to tackle this issue and give families the home necessities they deserve by supporting the BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials programme.

Emergency Essentials provides fundamental furnishings to families living without, such as a comfy sofa to sit on, a safe bed to sleep in, a cooker to provide a hot meal, to other items and services critical to a child’s wellbeing.

Every customer who places an order online or in Sofology store has the option to make a donation towards the programme through their partnership with Pennies, the digital charity box. Together with the fantastic fundraising efforts of store colleagues, these contributions will help us to deliver comfort and dignity where it’s needed most.

Thank you, Sofology, for your incredible support.
