All-Star presenter line-up announced for BBC Children in Need 2016

All star presenter line up

Graham Norton is today confirmed as joint host of BBC Children In Need 2016 alongside Tess Daly, Greg James, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle Humes and Marvin Humes.

This year’s appeal show will take place on Friday 18 November live from the BBC’s Elstree Studios on BBC One. The presenters will guide viewers through a fantastic night of television whilst raising millions of pounds for Children in Need.

It is a huge privilege to join the presenting team for the Children in Need Appeal show. This year we’d love to raise as much money as we possibly can in honour of the late Sir Terry Wogan.

Graham Norton, new joint host of BBC Children in Need

Tess Daly: “It is an honour and a pleasure to be presenting BBC Children in Need’s 2016 Appeal Show.  Every year people across the UK go above and beyond to help make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK, and I hope this year will be no different. It really is going to be an incredible evening of fantastic entertainment, amazing music and very special sketches, so I look forward to seeing you all on Friday 18th November!”

Greg James: “It’s an honour to be hosting Children in Need this year; it does such great work and makes a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. I can’t wait to get going and show everyone what we have in store on the night, all with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this brilliant cause.”

Ade Adepitan: “When I was a kid Children in Need had a fund raiser at Stokemandeville – I was playing wheelchair basketball there. They made me and all the other kids feel really special, the money raised helped to buy wheelchairs and gave my friends opportunities to play sport. It was also cool to think we might get on TV. So, to now be part of the presenting team is such an honour and so exciting. I can’t wait it’s going to be an incredible night!”

Rochelle Humes: “I will never forget the amazing experience of presenting Children in Need with Sir Terry Wogan. Children In Need is truly one of the highlights of my year and I can’t wait for this year’s show.”

Marvin Humes: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Children in Need and have great memories of watching the night of TV growing up and of course, performing with the JLS boys.  It’s going to be a great night and I’m looking forward to raising a lot of money for this fantastic cause.”

Charlotte Moore, Director, BBC Content: “Our new line-up of presenters promise to deliver a spectacular evening of entertainment for charity’s biggest night of the year. I know the nation will dig deep and do the late Sir Terry Wogan proud with their generous fundraising.”
