BBC Children in Need Prize Draw Terms and Conditions Secondary School (Amazon Vouchers) – 2024
- The prize draw is open to all registered Secondary Schools in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, except anyone closely connected with the prize draw or any BBC Children in Need employees or relatives. Entrants must be authorised by the Secondary School to enter and be 18 or over. By entering, all entrants will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
- There will be 1 winner and 10 runners up.
- The main winning prize is 1x £1000 Amazon gift card for the winning Secondary School. The runner up prizes are 1 x £50 Amazon gift card. Any applicable terms and conditions for the Amazon gift card will apply including the expiry date specified for the relevant gift card.
- To enter, you must complete the ‘order your secondary school fundraising pack’ form online here selecting ‘Secondary School’ as your school phase.
- There are no other methods of entry. No payment, purchase or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw.
- Entries open on Thursday 12th September 2023 and close at midnight on Friday 25th October 2024.
- Only one entry per Secondary School will be allowed: only the first entry will be considered, with all future entries subsequently discounted. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- Unclear entries will not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.
- Within ten working days after the closing date, the winners of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winners will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be contacted by email. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winners on Monday 2nd December 2024. If, after reasonable attempt, a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 5 working days (being Monday – Friday) of our first contact, or a winner refuses the prize for any reason, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to the next randomly selected Secondary School that validly entered the prize draw.
- By entering the prize draw you agree that, if you win, BBC Children in Need may publicise your Secondary School name and county. If you object to any or all of your Secondary School name or county being published, please contact BBC Children in Need at [email protected]. In such circumstances, BBC Children in Need must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Prizes will be sent out by no later than 31 March 2025. Gift cards will be sent as electronic gift cards to the email address used to enter the prize draw. This must be a work email address for the relevant school you are entering.
- The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative or replacement. The prize is not transferable.
- We may cancel the prize draw, if deemed necessary in our opinion, or if circumstances arise outside our control. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any stage and in any way.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the English courts have jurisdiction.
