Get Ramble Ready: Your guide to a Children in Need sponsored walk
It’s almost time to lace up your walking boots and set out on a walk that will not just feel good, but will do good too. The 2021 Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need is taking place on October 9th and 10th, so get out in the great outdoors this autumn and together, we can walk to change young lives.

Plan your walk
You may already have a route in mind – whether it’s a tried and tested favourite, or somewhere you’ve always wanted to explore. But if not, don’t worry! AllTrails and ramblers.org.uk can recommend local trails if you need inspiration.

Pick a date
This year’s Ramble is taking place over the weekend of October 9th and 10th. We’d love for you to join us then, but the truth is you can ramble whenever you want. Pick a date that works best for you and stick it in the diary.

Get fundraising
Make your miles matter by signing up for a fundraising page. By getting sponsored, your rambles will help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people all over the country.

Be COVID safe
To make sure you’re rambling safely, remember to check the current national and regional COVID-19 guidance beforehand.

Enjoy Your Walk
Brush up on the Countryside Code, pack plenty of snacks and get those hiking boots on. It’s time to get out and enjoy your ramble!

Whether it’s the tale of your adventure or a picture of your muddy pup, we want to hear about your rambles- remember to tag @BBCCiN and @BBCCountryfile in your social media posts so we can see them!
