Many children across the UK are having to get by without the basics, due to ongoing issues connected to the cost of living and other significant challenges.

However, because of your donations, Emergency Essentials – a specially created BBC Children in Need programme delivered by the Family Fund – provides the help and resources required to make sure their most vital needs are met. In the past year alone, two million items have been provided for children who needed them most.
