RUNPUDSEY 2025

CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO RUNPUDSEY 2025!

runPudsey is back for 2025 and is bigger and better than ever before!

Last year 313 schools raised an incredible £328,648 with 9234 pupils taking on their own runPudsey challenge – could your school be next to get involved with runPudsey?

Sign up by clicking the link below, or find more information on the page below about runPudsey and why we’d love for your school to get involved!

WHAT IS RUNPUDSEY?

runPudsey is a fun way to get your pupils moving and raising money for BBC Children in Need.

runPudsey is a sponsorship challenge which your pupils can complete individually or together in PE classes or as a whole school. Teachers can set the activity and tailor it to pupils’ needs and interests!

It doesn’t matter what activity your pupils do to take part – they can run, cycle, swim or another activity of their choice – as long as they are having fun and challenge themselves. The best thing about runPudsey is you get to choose!

HOW CAN MY SCHOOL GET INVOLVED?

Your school can sign up anytime from Wednesday 1st October until BBC Children in Need day on Friday 14th November.

Your pupils can complete your challenge at any point within that time period too – you could work on your challenge once a week, or save the whole challenge to be completed the week of BBC Children in Need day!

The runPudsey challenge lives on its own bespoke website, with an online platform that teachers can access to manage your challenge and pupil’s fundraising. Full information on the sign up steps can be found further down this page.

HAVE FUN WHILE YOU FUNDRAISE!

Remember to ask pupils to share their challenge with friends and family and to get sponsored. Why not Challenge Yourself to 25 and raise £25 (or more!) when getting involved with runPudsey this year?

Whether it’s pennies or pounds, everyone who fundraises will receive this year’s brand new and exclusive runPudsey 2025 medal to celebrate all your efforts!

HOW TO TAKE PART IN RUNPUDSEY 2025:

1. Register

Visit runPudsey.co.uk and register as a school. You will need a copy of your school logo to add so you can personalise your school page and your school URN from the .gov website. If you use your sch.uk email, you will be automatically accepted; if you use another email, it may take up to 24 hours to verify you. You will then receive a unique school code & unique link to share with parents.

2. Share the Sign-ups

Share your new school registration page with parents so they can sign up for their children to take part. Be sure to send them your unique school code. When they signup they will be given an individual fundraising page.

3. Log In

When you log in using your teacher details, you will be able to see all the children taking part so you can ensure they all take part in the challenge.

Why not send out a weekly reminder in your newsletter for signups and to encourage people to get sponsored?

4. Run your Challenge!

Get your students together at the time of your choice and take part in the activities. Dress up, decorate, go wild and have fun!

5. Get your Medals and Certificates!

The runPudsey team will calculate the correct number of medals for each school and send them directly to you. (Please let parents know that medals will be sent to the school so that you can hold a celebration of achievement, and medals cannot be sent to individual homes.)

Teachers – remember, every pupil who fundraises needs to be recorded on the runPudsey website so we can send enough medals to your school. If a pupil has fundraised but not used a runPudsey donation page, please log into the system and manually record their fundraising information.
