BBC Children in Need Prize Draw Terms and Conditions Primary School (Pudsey Visit and Amazon Vouchers) – 2025

By entering this prize draw you will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility and How to Enter
- The prize draw is open to Primary Schools in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, except anyone closely connected with the prize draw or any BBC Children in Need employees or relatives. Entrants must be authorised by the Primary School to enter and be 18 or over.
- To enter, you must complete the ‘sign up to BBC Children in Need’ process online at https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/schools/primary-school/primary-school-sign-up-form/ and selecting ‘Primary School’ as your school phase.
- There are no other methods of entry. No payment, purchase or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw.
- Entries open Wednesday 17th September 2025. There will be two draws, the first for 1x Pudsey Visit during Monday 10 November 2025 to Friday 14 November 2025 (Appeal Week Pudsey Visit)and the second for 4x Pudsey Thank You Visits and the Amazon Voucher prizes. Entries close at 23:59PM on Tuesday 21st October 2025 for the Appeal Week Pudsey Visit and close at 23:59PM on Friday 14th November 2025 for the 4x Pudsey Thank You Visits and Amazon Voucher prizes.
- Only one entry Primary School will be allowed: only the first entry will be considered, with all future entries subsequently discounted. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.
- Entries received after the respective closing dates will not be included in the respective prize draws. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- Unclear entries will not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.
Prizes
- There will be 1 winner for the Appeal Week Pudsey Visit and 16 winners for the Pudsey Thank you Visits and Amazon Voucher Prizes (17 in total).
- The 17 separate prizes are:
- for the first name (drawn in accordance with paragraph 17) 1x Appeal Week Pudsey Visit (a Pudsey visit during the week of Monday 10 November 2025 – Friday 14 November 2025);
- for the next 4 names (drawn in accordance with paragraph 20) 1x Pudsey Thank You Visit each (a Pudsey visit during December 2025 and January 2026);
- for the next 2 names (drawn in accordance with paragraph 20), 1x £500 Amazon Voucher each; and
- for the final 10 names (drawn in accordance with paragraph 20), 1x £50 Amazon Voucher each.
- Both the Appeal Week Pudsey Visit and the Pudsey Thank you Visits are the loan of one official Pudsey Bear suit by BBC Children in Need to the winning Primary School for one day.
- The Appeal Week Pudsey visit will take place between Monday 10th November and Friday 14th November 2025. There will be 1x specific date offered for the Primary School and if this is not suitable, the prize will need to be forfeited.
- The Pudsey Thank You Visits will take place between Monday 1st December and Friday 30th January. A specific date will be arranged with each Primary School and if we are unable to agree a date within this period, the prize will need to be forfeited.
- The winning Primary School must organise a volunteer to wear the suit and you will be responsible for them. BBC Children in Need will pay for courier delivery and collection of the suit to the Primary School’s registered address. To claim the prize, the winning Primary Schools will need to complete and sign additional documentation in relation to the loan of the suit. By entering the prize draw, you agree on behalf of your Primary School, if you win, to:
- keep the Pudsey suit safe and in good condition;
- only use the Pudsey suit in the Primary School setting that you entered;
- follow the Pudsey suit rules which will be provided to you; and
- reimburse us for the reasonable and direct costs of repairing the Pudsey Suit if for any reason you damage it (excluding fair wear and tear) if we ask you to.
- The additional prizes are 2x £500 Amazon gift cards and 10x £50 Amazon gift cards. Any applicable terms and conditions for the Amazon gift card will apply including the expiry date specified for the relevant gift card.
- The prizes are as stated (subject to paragraph 16 below). There is no cash alternative and the elements of the prize cannot be sold or transferred by the winners in any circumstances. Winners shall not be entitled to change their prizes. For the avoidance of doubt, unless specified above, no other costs or expenses will be covered by BBC Children in Need.
- BBC Children in Need reserves the right to replace the prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so. Accordingly, the descriptions of the prizes are provided without a warranty of any kind. In no event shall BBC Children in Need be liable for any claim demand or damages caused to an entrant by reason of a description of the prize being inaccurate, incomplete, or for the prize being otherwise in any way different to the entrant’s expectations. BBC Children in Need reserve the right to cancel the prize draw at any stage.
Winning and Claiming the Prize
Appeal Week Pudsey Visit
- For the Appeal Week Pudsey Visit, within 2 working days (Monday – Friday) after the closing date for the Appeal Week Pudsey Visit (Thursday 23rd October 2025), the winner of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winner will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered
- The winner for the 1x Appeal Week Pudsey Visit will be contacted by phone and/or email. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winner by Friday 24th October 2025. If, after reasonable attempt, the winner does not respond to claim their prize by Wednesday 29th October 2025, or a winner refuses the prize for any reason, or is unable to accept the Pudsey Visit on the specified day of the planned delivery, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to the next randomly selected Primary School that validly entered the prize draw.
- The Appeal Week Pudsey Visit must take place at the Primary School’s official address.
Pudsey Thank you Visits and Amazon Vouchers
- For the Pudsey Thank You Visits and the Amazon Vouchers, within 21 days after the closing date for the Pudsey Thank You Visits and Amazon Vouchers (Friday 5th December 2025), the winners of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winners will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Pudsey Thank You Visits and the Amazon Voucher winners will be contacted by email and/or phone. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winners by Friday 5th December 2025. If, after reasonable attempt, a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 5 working days (being Monday – Friday) of our first contact, or a winner refuses the prize for any reason, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to the next randomly selected Primary School that validly entered the prize draw.
- The Appeal Week Pudsey Visit must take place at the Primary School’s official address.
- The Amazon Voucher prizes will be sent out by no later than Tuesday 30th June 2026. Gift cards will be sent as electronic gift cards to the email address used to enter the prize draw. This must be a work email address for the relevant Primary School you are entering.
- The winners must provide their full name, postal address and email address to BBC Children in Need at the point at which they respond and claim their prize and further details to be sent to.
- By entering the prize draw you agree that, if you win, BBC Children in Need may publicise your Primary School’s name and county. If you object to any or all of your Primary School’s name or county being published, please contact BBC Children in Need at [email protected]. In such circumstances, BBC Children in Need must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Proof of sending an entry shall not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, misdirected, late, damaged, incomplete or illegible, nor for any associated costs. Responsibility will not be accepted by the BBC Children in Need for prize draw entries that are lost, including as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, network, server or software failure of any kind.
- BBC Children in Need shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, except for death or personal injury, arising out of the administration of prize draws, or out of the winners’ or any third parties’ enjoyment of the prizes.

- We reserve the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so in our opinion, or if circumstances arise outside our control. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any stage and in any way.
- These terms and conditions and all other matters arising out of this prize draw (including but not limited to tortious matters) are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the English courts have jurisdiction.
Privacy Notice
The email address provided will be used to contact the winner. We will ask the winner for a mailing address to fulfil the prize. BBC Children in Need is the data controller for any personal data you give for the prize draw and is responsible for how the information is used. We may work with approved third-party providers to help us fulfil this prize.
