Meet Gavin – he helps to run The BUD Club at Liberty Consortium in Derry, Londonderry. Here, they provide an opportunity for young people with disabilities to form friendships and feel like a child again.
The work our play trail does, is it allows them to be a child again, and have fun with their friends.
This time to bond and form relationships can be challenging as choices and chances can be harder to access for these young people, and projects like Liberty Consortium help to develop vital social and communication skills in the children and young people they support.
