Joe Wicks’ favourite fundraising ideas
Hey guys, Joe Wicks here! This year’s BBC Children in Need is all about The Great SPOTacular – spotty outfits, spotty bakes and even spotty challenges!
By getting involved you’ll be making a huge difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK. Here’s my favourite ideas for raising money this year.

1. Walk with Joe
I might be bias, but my number one fundraising idea this year has to be Walk with Joe! Get dressed in your spotty best, get sponsored and head down to your local parkrun at the start of November. I’ll be leading four walks across the UK where you’re invited to join me, Pudsey and other CBeebies stars.

2. Take on your own challenge
Head over to BBC Children in Need’s challenge hub for everything you need to take on a SPOTacular challenge this year. With loads of ideas for on-the-spot challenges and a step-by-step guide on how to build your own SPOTacular challenge.

3. SPOTacular baking
Everyone knows I love to cook, and selling your bakes is a great way to raise money. Find loads of recipes, plus some healthy bakes from me, on BBC Children in Need’s baking hub.

4. Dress up and look SPOTacular
Whether you’re joining me for Walk with Joe or taking on your own challenge, help to boost that sponsorship by dressing up in your SPOTacular best!

5. Donate
It sounds simple, and that’s because it is! If you run out of time to plan a fundraising idea this year, the easiest way you can be SPOTacular is by donating. We know times are tough at the moment so please only donate if you can. No matter what you give, it really does make a massive difference to children all over the UK.
