5 easy ways to raise money with mates
Join us and feel good this BBC Children in Need day by putting the fun into fundraising with your friends. Here are some ideas on how you can get together and help change young lives.

Take part in our biscuity sweepstake
This year, Radio 1’s very own Rickie and Melvin are going head-to-head in a very special challenge – the BBC Children in Need Biscuit Build! The dynamic duo will be building a tower of biscuits and it is up to you and your friends to guess who will successfully place the final biscuit before it all comes crumbling down.
It couldn’t be easier to take part. Simply download our sweepstake poster, collect £2 per person and get everyone to pick a biscuit and player combo. You can arrange a prize for the winner, or maybe bragging rights over your mates and the knowledge you’ve helped change lives is reward enough.
So which cookie will be the one to crumble!? Rickie’s custard cream? Melvin’s pink wafer? You can find out at 1pm, Friday 19th November over on our Facebook page.

Set yourselves a challenge
Whatever you and your friends like to do together, turn it into a fundraiser. It could be a spin class, a bake sale or a 10K run. If you like to cycle and our inspired by the Rickshaw Challenge, join the peloton and pedal for Pudsey. Work together or make it competitive. Just set yourselves a challenge and simply get sponsored to do it! Set up your own fundraising page here.

These boots are made for walking
What could be better than a walk the Great British countryside with your pals? By making it a sponsored walk, of course!
This year’s Countryfile Ramble may have already happened, but don’t let that stop you doing your own sponsored Ramble. You can take part whenever you want (we know how tricky it is to get all your friends in one place!). Just pick a date that works for all of you and get rambling!

Get Your Strictly On
Add some sparkle to your fundraising this year by giving it a Strictly Come Dancing theme. Look the part with a tuxedo or ball gown. Add some glitter to your bakes. Get judging your fundraiser with our downloadable Strictly scoring paddles.

Spend quality time together
However you and your friends decide to fundraise, if you can and it’s safe, do it together. Put on your Pudsey ears and let’s work together to make sure all children and young people have the chance to be the best they can be.
