Right now your support could make an even greater difference to vulnerable young people facing homelessness. Sadly, there has been a 36% increase in homeless people seeking support since lockdown began (Centrepoint, 2020).

The pandemic is creating challenges for many young people, including the exacerbation of common drivers of homelessness such as relationship and family breakdown, economic insecurity and mental health issues. (Homeless Link, 2020).

In light of this we’ve been talking to Nightsafe, the incredible Blackburn based project transformed in BBC One’s DIY SOS Big Build for BBC Children in Need last year.
