This Privacy Notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you during and after your relationship with us.

BBC Children in Need will collect and process the personal information that you have provided to us about yourself. This personal information is the information you provide on the form above and any information you provide in respect of totals raised and feedback you give to us.

The personal information that you provide will be processed for the purposes of contacting you about the event, to help and support you with the event and to send you your fundraising goodies (and to send you our newsletter if you’ve said we can send it you).

When you provide information to us, BBC Children in Need is the data controller of your personal information and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office with registration number Z1523450. BBC Children in Need is a company limited by guarantee (number 04723022) and a charity registered in England and Wales under number 802052 and in Scotland under number SC039557.

The legal basis on which BBC Children in Need processes your personal information is our legitimate interests of fundraising with our corporate partners (and we don’t believe this unreasonably impacts on your rights and freedoms).

We will retain your application form information for 6 months and other information that we record about you as a fundraiser in accordance with our retention policy (an extract of which is available on request).

We will share information you provide with London Marathon Events Limited who organise the event and will get in touch with you about the event after you sign up with us.
