The impact of Covid-19 means that some children don’t always have access to healthy food. BBC Children in Need are working with local projects like PEEK (Possibilities for Each & Every Kid) in Glasgow to make sure that no child goes without a hot, nutritious meal Your donations helps pay for Community Chef, Charlie, who heads up a team of staff and volunteers to drive their PEEK-A-CHEW catering van around the city, preparing free meals for families along with bags of dried goods and recipe cards for use at home. The Play Team are also delivering outdoor activities for the children in the community to keep them fit, well and happy during the winter months.
