BBC Children in Need Spotacular Schools Research Terms and Conditions
The prize draw is open to all staff at UK schools/educational establishments aged 18 years or over. Any permitted entrant shall be eligible to enter the prize draw if they submit the survey following the instructions provided having completed all compulsory sections. By entering, all entrants will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
Entrants are entering the prize draw to win a prize for their school/educational establishment. The prize offered is one iPad mini for each winning school/educational establishment. There will be total of 3 iPad minis to be won. In addition, there will be 12 mini Bluetooth speakers offered as a runner up prize to 12 additional educational establishments.
No payment or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw.
Only one entry per person is allowed. However, there is no limit on the number of people that may enter from one school/educational establishment and no limit on the prizes that may be awarded to one school/educational establishment if they are a winner/runner up. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.
The prize draw launches on 26 January 2018. All entries must be received by midnight on the closing date of 21 February 2018.
Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
Unclear entries may not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.
On 23 February 2018 the winners and runners up of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all entries received. The winners and runners up are randomly selected using a number generator; therefore the selection is completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will 3 main winners and 12 runners up only. The winners and runners up will be contacted via email, using the details supplied in the survey. BBC Children in Need, or a partner acting on our behalf, will endeavour to notify the winner within 14 days of the prize draw taking place. If, after reasonable attempt, the winner cannot be contacted, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to another randomly selected school/educational establishment that entered the prize draw. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted.
All prizes will be delivered to the winning school/educational establishments addresses; no personal addresses will be accepted.
By entering the prize draw you agree that We are Futures and BBC Children in Need may publicise the name, school and county of your school/educational establishment if you are a winner or runner up.
The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative or replacement.
The prize is not transferable.
