Joe Wicks PE session terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to all primary schools in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, except anyone closely connected with the prize draw or any BBC Children in Need employees or relatives. Entrants must be authorised by the school to enter and be 18 or over. By entering, all entrants will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.

  1. There are different levels of prizes:

  • Main Prize (total of 10 to be won) – access to a PE zoom session lead by Joe Wicks on behalf of BBC Children in Need to be held via Zoom for all winning schools (all winning schools will log in to the same Zoom session). Plus one teacher tea break for each winning school which consists of mugs, teas and confectionary.
  • Second Prize (total of 25 to be won) – a “Pudsey Pack” which consists of arts and crafts kit and one giant Pudsey Bear (50cm x 49cm x 38cm). Plus one teacher tea break for each winning school which consists of mugs, teas and confectionary.

  1. No payment, purchase or investment is necessary to be eligible to enter the prize draw. To enter, you must click the link within your “let us know how you’re taking part email” and complete the relevant form online in full. You will receive a bounce back email to confirm receipt of your entry. There is no other method of entry.

  1. Entries open at 9am on 8th October and close on 2nd November 2020. All entries must be received by midnight on the closing date of 2 November 2020.

  1. Only one entry per primary school will be allowed: only the first entry will be considered, with all future entries subsequently discounted. Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw.

  1. Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. BBC Children in Need will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.

  1. Unclear entries will not be eligible for the prize draw and acceptance of an entry is subject to BBC Children in Need’s reasonable discretion.

  1. Within five working days after the closing date the winners of this prize draw will be drawn at random by BBC Children in Need from all valid entries received. The winners will be randomly selected using a number generator and this will be completely independent and unbiased. BBC Children in Need’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. The first twenty valid entries to be drawn will win the “Main Prize” listed above and the next 30 valid entries to be drawn will win the “Second Prize” as listed above.

  1. The Joe Wicks Schools PE zoom session will be managed by BBC Children in Need. Each winning school must have the ability to use Zoom to access the move session and the call will be restricted to two Zoom users logging in per school which must be members of staff of the school aged 18 or over.  Please note that all winning schools will log into the same Zoom session so other schools may be able to see those taking part and the names and email addresses of the registered users of Zoom.

  1. The PE zoom session is expected to take place around the end of November or early December 2020 but will be on the specific date notified by BBC Children in Need according to schedules of those involved.

  1. The winners will be contacted by phone and/or email. BBC Children in Need will endeavour to notify the winners within five working days of the prize draw taking place. If, after reasonable attempts, a winner cannot be contacted, or a winner refuses or is unable to join the Joe Wicks School PE Zoom session on the specified day, BBC Children in Need reserves the right to offer the prize to another randomly selected primary school that entered the prize draw.

  1. Entrant’s data may be shared with our fulfilment partner Multi Resource Marketing Ltd for the purpose of fulfilment only. By entering the prize draw you agree that BBC Children in Need may publicise the name and county of your school if you win.

  1. The Pudsey Pack and teacher tea break elements of any prize will be sent to the address provided on the entry form which should be the relevant primary school’s address. If for any reason, there is an issue with that address, we may send it to the relevant school at its registered/official address. The prize must be accepted as offered; there is no cash alternative or replacement.

  1. The prize is not transferable.
