A Million & Me
The team at Boots have delivered again – thank you so much guys!
2020 was Boots’ seventeenth amazing year in partnership with BBC Children in Need, and in these current extraordinary times colleagues and customers went digital to fundraise.
As well as all selling Pudsey merchandise, Boots sold Pudsey face coverings and customers could donate £1 to unlock a Pudsey digital filter on social media.
Colleagues across HQ and stores also took their fundraising digital with the Joe Wicks Challenge, Strictly TikTok Challenge & the Pudsey filter as well as lots more including the Boots Big Quiz!

Thanks to the hard work of everyone at Boots, they raised an incredible £750,000 to help support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK! To date Boots have raised over £13.8million for BBC Children in Need- incredible!

A Million & Me
In April 2019, we launched a new £10m three-year funding programme that will focus on children’s mental health A Million & Me is an early action programme which aims to support children aged 8-13 across the UK through this tricky transition phase in their lives.
The programme will fund innovative initiatives that can make a real difference to the emotional wellbeing of children aged 8-13, before emerging challenges require clinical intervention.
As our Principal Partner, Boots UK, have an important role in the programme and as of May 2019 are providing information and support to customers in their stores throughout the UK as well as online. Boots colleagues will help parents and carers to have positive proactive conversations with children about mental wellbeing, with the aim of having a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of families in the communities they operate in.
